Reeling in a ten pound red snapper while your fishing buddy fights a thirty-pound kingfish.  Catching your limit of speckled trout, or reeling in a bull redfish, stretching your string for ten to fifteen minutes.  Fighting a blacktip shark or a jackfish —— fishing in Port O'Connor, Texas, can be exciting.  In salt water, you never know what will bite your line.

Let’s Go Fishing!

ABOUT US…

Coastal Safaris Guide Service has fished Port O'Connor waters for thirty-five years.  Our fleet consists of two 30' Mako gulf boats, two 25' bay boats and one flounder boat.  We furnish all tackle and dead bait (shrimp, shad, squid and mullet), and we clean package your catch at the end of the day.

Our fleet leaves Clark's Restaurant and Marina at daylight, returning one to two hours before dark.  Our offshore trips usually begin with a limit of red snapper, then fishing for king mackerel, ling, dolphin (mahi-mahi), grouper, shark or an occasional sailfish.  We fish the back bays or jetties for trout, redfish, flounder and tarpon, and we also offer nightly flounder gigging trips.

PRICING…

A day of gulf fishing for one to five people is priced at $1,050.  Bay fishing for one to five is $600 per day.  Other trips are available, call for prices.  For individuals who prefer to fish with live bait, when available, there is an additional charge.  And while the ideal fishing crew is one to five fishermen, we have a furnished bay house that sleeps twelve.  It is available at only $20 per person per night, with a minimum of $100 per night.

Book early for choice dates.  September and October are redfish months — lots of keepers and bulls.  You must bring a current Texas Fishing License with a Salt Water Stamps, and your own eats and drinks for on the boat (coming ashore for lunch is available on bay fishing trips only).
